There is one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, both seen and unseen, and is therefore worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchanging in His nature and remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
God reveals Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, through Scripture, and through all of creation.
We are called to proclaim the good news of Jesus to the whole world. We are his witnesses. We are called to evangelize, in the normal day-to-day environments of our lives. We look to doing mission beyond our own environments to the very ends of the earth.
God created humans, male and female, in His image for His glory. Adam and Eve were made without sin and entrusted to care for His creation.
When Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, they corrupted the image of God within themselves and fell out of fellowship with Him. Their sin introduced separation from God and brought brokenness to all of creation, a fracture that has affected the world ever since.
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. God raised Him from the dead, and now, by grace, offers eternal life as a free gift to all who trust in Christ by faith as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation is found in Christ alone.
The Church is the living expression of Christ in the world, called to reflect His glory and share the good news of the gospel with all people.
One day, Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead and to bring the fullness of God’s kingdom to earth.
We believe Christ intends His Church to walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, given by grace to each believer. These gifts are to be used humbly, in alignment with Scripture, and for the good of others. The Holy Spirit empowers individuals with unique gifts to build up the body of Christ and extend His love to the world. We believe God hears and answers the prayer of faith, according to His will, for the sick, the emotionally wounded, and the oppressed.
